Emrah Yaman, born in Zurich, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt and undefeated MMA professional (3-0). Since 2011, he has dedicated his life to martial arts, training worldwide with legends such as Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu, in Brazil, Thailand, and Bali. Among his accomplishments, he won the IBJJF European Championship and made a name for himself with strong grappling and spectacular fights. He received his black belt under Samir Dacic and “Cyborg” Abreu. Today, at IMPACT Martial Arts Zürich, he passes on not only technique but also values like discipline, character, and a strong mindset, giving everyone the opportunity to grow beyond their limits.

Since 2011, he has lived martial arts—starting with BJJ, and later adding boxing, kickboxing, and wrestling. Early on, his path led him across the globe in search of the best coaches and toughest sparring partners. His journey took him to Brazil, where he trained with icons such as Calasans, Ed Ramos, and Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu; to Thailand, where he trained with Muay Thai and MMA legends; and to Bali, where he worked with Don Carlo Klauss and the Leone Brothers, further sharpening his grappling game.
In MMA, he made a name for himself through relentless ground-and-pound and spectacular “Fight of the Night” performances. In BJJ competitions, he consistently reached the podium—a clear testament to his technique, precision, and unshakable fighting spirit. One of his greatest achievements was winning the IBJJF European Championship in the Purple Belt Adult Division in Rome.
Emrah was awarded his black belt under Samir Dacic and Roberto “Cyborg” Abreu, under the banner of Ruckus / Fight Sports International—a milestone symbolizing years of dedication, discipline, and passion.
At IMPACT Martial Arts Zürich, Emrah aims to share more than just techniques with his students. For him, martial arts are not only about fighting, but also about shaping character, developing discipline, and building a strong mindset.
