The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) program at IMPACT teaches students the essential disciplines that can be seen in the UFC and other major mma organizations. Boxing, Muay Thai, Wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) flow together. You get to know your strength and can let off steam. In sparring you can compete with others and receive direct feedback about your progress.

The training sessions are sweaty and demanding, so after a short time you will improve your fitness, your strength and your timing enormously. With the techniques you can take your skills to a new level and train together with our great members.

Discover the IMPACT HIIT Class - a powerful combination of intense strength training and energetic boxing. We blend functional training with equipment such as kettlebells and resistance bands with the dynamic experience of punching bags. Experience a workout that elevates your strength and endurance to a new level, without having to take a hit.

THE WORKOUT

In the IMPACT HIIT Class, you dive into a unique training concept: two groups, two experiences. One group powers through on the floor, while the other unleashes punches on the punching bags. Alternate between strength training and boxing for a holistic and varied workout.

Welcome to Kids Martial Arts – where every move is a step towards personal growth for your child! Our classes are specially designed for children aged 6-10, offering a unique blend of fitness, fun, and life skills.

In Kids Martial Arts, children embark on a martial arts journey that goes beyond physical training. Our curriculum focuses on developing key life skills such as discipline, respect, and perseverance, in a supportive and engaging environment.

Our experienced instructors are passionate about helping each child reach their full potential in a safe, encouraging, and energetic environment. We balance traditional martial arts techniques with modern teaching methods, making our classes accessible and engaging for all participants.

Emrah Yaman, born in Zurich, is a black belt in BJJ and a seasoned MMA pro. He’s competed in Boxing, K1, and won the IBJJF European Championship in BJJ. With over 15 years of experience and global training in MMA, wrestling, boxing, and kickboxing.

Nathan Melliger

MMA & Muay Thai Coach

Captivated by the world of martial arts from a very young age, Nathan Melliger took his first steps in Taekwondo before unleashing his fighting passion in kickboxing, where he gained his initial competition experience. He later perfected his striking skills in Muay Thai, successfully competing in various cities throughout Switzerland and becoming the embodiment of concentrated power and tactical finesse. In the last two years, he has expanded his repertoire to include Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and now proudly holds a blue belt—a testament to his ongoing development.

DARIO KASHANI

MMA Coach

Dario from Zurich began his martial arts journey at the age of 15 in the boxing ring. After a successful amateur career, he discovered Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and fell in love with the complexity of the martial art. He honed his skills on travels around the world before facing new challenges in the MMA cage. In 2021, he earned his black belt in BJJ and continues to compete successfully on an international level – with podium finishes at the European Championships.

The MMA lessons are a little more advanced. It is still suitable for everyone who is sporty. The content can be learned by everyone.

Are the lessons hard?

The MMA lessons focus on teaching you modern martial arts. You will also be able to compete with others in sparring. However , there are rules, for example you can't hit your head hard. We attach great importance to not hurting each other. No worries.

Do I fit in?

We are proud that we have a great community of very different people who welcome everyone . You too fit in with us!

How do I log on?

Simply register for a trial training session using the button. You can come for free to get to know us and the training.

CAN I SHOWER AFTER TRAINING?

Yes, we have shower facilities at our studio, so you can head right to work or go about your day, feeling fresh and energized after the workout.

DO I NEED TO BRING MY OWN EQUIPMENT?

If you already have boxing gloves, you’re welcome to use them. If not, that’s no problem, we will give them to you free of charge for the duration of your training.
